A family in Lansing, Michigan, found something pretty extraordinary while cleaning last weekend.
As the Michigan State Police report, a resident was cleaning out a family member’s house and found what appeared to be an ammunition round. Say what? They called the bomb squad, and they found, thankfully, it wasn’t a live round.
According to Michigan State Police, the item was a non-live WWI ammunition round. They also found some valuable, old cash.
The round was given to authorities, and the family kept coins and bills, according to police.
