The NFL has released the full 2023-24 playoff schedule. Yes, it’s finally here, friends.
It’s about time, right? I mean, going into Week 18, we had no idea of most of the teams that would be in the playoffs this season.
So, I’m going to get my snacks ready to watch some amazing football next weekend, and you should, too. We only have a few weeks until it’s all over, so let’s enjoy the ride while it lasts. Not to sound depressing or anything. Anyway, here’s the full 2023-24 NFL Wild Card Playoff schedule. Let’s go.
When are the NFL wild card games?
This season’s NFL wild card games run from Jan. 13 to Jan. 15. All of these are games of interest, obviously, because if you lose, you’re out. Bye, bye. No second chances. Really, I always think the first weekend of games is the most crucial. You never know which teams will lose in major upsets and which will come out victorious.
The first game of the wild card round will take place Sunday (Jan. 13) at 4:30 p.m., with the Cleveland Browns against the Houston Texans. While this is shaping up to be a good game, it’s not quite as exciting as some of the other matchup on here.
One game of big interested to Detroit Lions fans, of course, is the Lions vs. L.A. Rams game. Former Lions and current Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will be back at Ford Field, trying to take out his old team. You can’t make this stuff up, kids. Jared Goff, Detroit’s current quarterback, has been having a great season. But, some of his key players could be out due to injuries, so the Lions will need some extra grawl to get across the finish line.
Another key games is the Green Bay Packers at the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys’ head coach Michael McCarthy was actually the head coach of Green Bay from 2006 to 2018, so this will be another reunion of sorts.
All weekend promises some fantastic matchups. Note that the Saturday night game will be streamed exclusively on Peacock. Those in the teams’ home markets will be able to watch the games as usual, but anyone outside of those markets will have to watch via Peacock. That said, all of the other games will be available on regular network television and ESPN.
Let the games begin. Read on for the full 2023-24 NFL Wild Card Playoff schedule, as well as dates for all the following games.
