Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is officially married to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper. So, what comes after a wedding? Obviously, a honeymoon. Considering that Goff is now one of the highest-paid players in the NFL, you know that he went big on the honeymoon. This wasn’t a little road trip, my friend. Goff and Harper went to Greece to celebrate being a married couple, and it looks like they’re having an amazing time. Just seeing these photos makes me want to go to Greece.
Jared Goff and Christen Harper Honeymoon in Greece
Harper has been sharing details of her honeymoon with Goff on her official Instagram account, including plenty of photos from their trip. In the first post she made from Greece, Harper says, “Loving Greece a lot in case you were wondering!” In another, she stated, “Hot summer days.” Then, her last batch of photos from their honeymoon, Harper posted some emojis and different photos of her and Goff taking in the glamourous country view. In one of the photos, you can see Goff wearing his wedding ring, too. They really seem like a lovely couple.
Goff and Harper got married during an outdoor ceremony at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California, on June 22. Their wedding was about as gorgeous as it gets. They wed in a small ceremony with close friends and family. Even Goff’s dog, Quincy, was at the wedding. As for fashion, for her big day, Harper looked amazing in a white strapless wedding dress and lace veil. Chck out some photos via TMZ Sports. TMZ Sports also said that, “Harper was pretty emotional during the ‘I Dos’… wiping back tears as she officially became Mrs. Goff.”
Check out photos of Goff and Harper’s honeymoon below. Greece does seem to be a very popular travel spot right now. I have several friends who recently traveled to Greece and loved it. So, it’s not a surprise that Goff and Harper picked Greece for their first trip together as a married couple.
Now, Goff is looking ahead to his upcoming season with the Detroit Lions. There are high hopes for the team this year. Last year, they got to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in 30 years. They didn’t win, but many in the Motor City think this is the time for the Lions to finally make it to the Super Bowl. It would be incredible to see the Lions win a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Not to jinx it, but I want to see it happen so badly. I think the pieces of the puzzle are there, we just have to put them together.
