It’s finally time for NBA All-Star Weekend, happening in the San Francisco Bay Area starting on Friday, February 14. What a sweet Valentine’s Day gift, right?
This year’s All-Star Game is shaking things up with a tournament-style setup. So, what does that mean? We’ll get there.
The All-Star roster is packed with top basketball talent, although some greats are always left out. LeBron James is making his 21st consecutive appearance, leading the Western Conference. He’ll be joined by big names like Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Stephen Curry. This star lineup is bound to bring some serious excitement to the court.
Over in the Eastern Conference, Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks was initially on the roster, but since he’s injured, Trae Young from the Atlanta Hawks will take his spot. Young has been killing it this season. He’ll be alongside starters like Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics, Donovan Mitchell from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jalen Brunson, and Karl-Anthony Towns from the New York Knicks.
Here’s the scoop on the teams and what you need to know about the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend.
