Fall is nearing, and the hype over college football is growing. So, which teams are looking to be the strongest for the 2023 season? Also, which teams are the most likely to end up at bowl games come the end of the year. Here are some college football predications for 2023.
College Football Predications for 2023:
One team I have my eyes on this year, much like last year, is Michigan. I’m a Michigan State University graduate, so it pains me to say this, but Michigan is one of the strongest teams in the league going into the season. They had a fantastic season last year, and now, they’re building on that with top recruits. Jim Harbaugh and the crew, I’m predicting, will end up as one of the final four teams in the college playoffs.
The four strongest teams going into the season, and the teams I believe will be at the final championship games, are Michigan, Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State. Regarding the latter, I see Ohio State and Michigan entering the Big Ten championship game both undefeated. Some might think it’s a stretch to include Ohio State among the top four teams in the league, but I think they’re going to surprise people this season.
Another team that I think will surprise people is Michigan State University. Mel Tucker is a bit in the hot seat after a weak season last year and losing players to the transfer portal. He’s not the kind of guy to shy away from a challenge, and I think he’s prepping his team for a winning season in 2023. I’m not expected them to get to one of the premier bowl games, but I do think they’ll make it to a bowl.
The College Football Playoff semifinals will take place on Jan. 1, 2024. The semifinal games will take place at the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, California, and the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. The College Football Playoff championship game will take place on Jan. 9 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
