New music from Jack White is coming, and soon, so get ready.
The former White Stripes frontman says that his upcoming solo album is “practically done,” in a new interview with Billboard.
During the interview, which took place at Detroit’s Making Vinyl conference earlier this week, White dished that he’has putting the “finishing touches” on the follow-up to his last record, 2014’s “Lazaretto.” Now, he’s just giving it some time to all sink in.
“It’s a bizarre one,” White said of the album. “I’ve just got to let it settle. I need to listen to it by myself. I haven’t been able to listen to it by myself for awhile.”
White also recently stated to Interview Magazine that the album as “good gardening music or roofing music or…back-alley stabbing music.” Nice.
