Now everybody is getting in on the grunge nostalgia, including toy companies.
Toy company Funko is creating a new music-themed line of their oh-so cute Pop! vinyl figures, including a plastic model of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
The Funko version of Cobain depicts the Nirvana vocalist strumming a guitar and wearing the signature “Smells Like Teen Spirit” green and brown sweater- the same one you see him wearing in the music video. The model will also be available in two other versions: one holding an acoustic guitar and wearing a tan sweater, only at FYE; and the other with the original guitar and a black jacket, exclusive to Hot Topic.
Jerry Garcia and Elton John will also get their own Funko toy. Look for the toys to hit stores in January.
