Is new Megadeth on the way for 2018? It’s possible!
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine says he think the thrash greats will be back in the studio to work on a new album by the middle of 2018.
“We haven’t started recording anything yet,” Mustaine tweets. “I am collecting ideas just like I did on ‘Dystopia.'”
Megadeth unleashed “Dystopia” in 2016.
The title track for the album won Best Metal Performance at the 2017 Grammys, marking the band’s first Grammy win after many nominations.
It’s so great to see Megadeth get the recognition they deserve and fuel that into a new album.
