Dude. It’s not going to happen again. Tom Brady is not going to unretire again. Get your head out of the clouds, or gutter, however you see it.
For a second time, rumors of Tom Brady coming out of retirement for another NFL season are once swirling. Of course, those rumors were true last year, as he did unretire and come back for one more season. But, it’s not happening again, according to Brady.
The GOAT himself took to social media Tuesday (March 7) with a hilarious response to a rumor that started Monday by Rich Eisen.
Eisen stated that rumors were swirling that Brady was possibly coming out of retirement for the second year in a row and might be coming to the Miami Dolphins for his 24th NFL season.
Brady’s response says simply, “Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter.” What can I say? He’s a busy man.
Brady adopted two Siamese mix kittens from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for his 10-year-old daughter, Vivian, who loves animals. Brady, Vivi and son Benjamin, 13, have also spent a lot of time volunteering with the organization.

Brady, really, has nothing left to prove. So, why would he come back? He wanted to return for one last season in 2022, but the Buccaneers’ record wasn’t great. It’s not Brady’s fault, but that’s all the more reason not to return. If he doesn’t have a strong enough team around him to make it to the Super Bowl, why would he set himself up for failure? Additionally, many fans who have loved and followed Brady from the start were happy to see him retire, again, after the last season. He’s had a long, champion-worthy run, and many are happy that he’s moving on.
