Ozzy Osbourne has already announced that he’ll be hitting the road on a major, two-year “Farewell Tour” throughout the world in 2018 and 2019.
“This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there,” he said in a statement. Of course, Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath recently wrapped up their tour, as well.
While Osbourne has already announced the dates for the European run of the tour, he has yet to give details on the North American tour.
This week, rumors started swirling that Ozzy’s farewell tour would feature Stone Sour on the bill. Where did this all surface? Well, according to The PRP, Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, had posted and then retracted a flyer announcing the trek’s date there as Sept. 14 with Stone Sour.
If Osbourne and Stone Sour indeed embark on a tour together, it would make sense, as Osbourne and Corey Taylor of Stone Sour put together the music festival Knotfest each year. Time will tell.
