We’re into the final weekend of the NFL’s regular season. By now, we have a pretty good picture of which teams seem destined for the Super Bowl or at least have a shot. The full season has almost played out, and we can tell which teams are peaking at the right time. Let’s get into AlternativeFix.com’s Super Bowl Predictions for 2024.
1. Baltimore Ravens
It blows my mind that right now, the odds have the San Francisco 49ers above the Baltimore Ravens for winning the Super Bowl this season. Are people not watching Lamar Jackson? This guy is beyond human. The Ravens fell short the beginning of the season, but they’re peaking now, and it’s the perfect time. I think they’ll go all the way this year.
2. San Francisco 49ers
It may be the safe choice, but my second pick is the 49ers. Brock Purdy is good and all, but I’m picking the 49ers because he has the best offense in the NFL at his side. Not to take away from his talent, but he has a dream offense that helps make his job easier.
3. Detroit Lions
Don’t laugh. You know the Lions are hot this year. They even beat the Cowboys at home, only to have the referee fix the game so the Cowboys could win. Sorry, I said it. But, really, looking at the rest of the NFL, the Lions are the third most consistent team, just behind the Ravens and 49ers. The Lions are on a mission this year, and they’re not giving up. Nor should they.
4. Philadelphia Eagles
Man, Eagles fans are a tough crowd. The Philadelphia Eagles have had some terrible games lately, and their fans are irate. I can tell from all the online comments. Let’s call them a very passionate fanbase. But, the Eagles are still strong this year. Are they strong enough to get to the Super Bowl? I don’t see them overcoming the 49ers to get there. I don’t know if they could even beat the Cowboys or Lions. But, they’re much better than many realize at this point. I put them at No. 4 on my list.
5. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are peaking at the time right. Earlier in the season, they looked like toast. But, they just snagged four consecutive wins against the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots. Okay, so maybe the last two teams weren’t that impressive to beat right now. But, four consecutive wins is pretty impressive. Josh Allen is playing good football.
6. Kansas City Chiefs
It’s a shock to see the Kansas City Chiefs have the kind of problems winning games that they’ve been having lately. But, they’ve got one of the best quarterbacks in the game, Patrick Mahomes. Even without the men he needs on offense, this guy can pull of miracles. Travis Kelce and the Taylor Swift factor don’t hurt, either.
7. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys still have a shot to make it to the Big Game. But, as a Detroit Lions fan, I can’t get behind this. Not after that bum call that changed the outcome of our game in Texas. If a team can’t win on the road, that says something, and that’s going to be a hurdle for the Cowboys. But, all due respect, they are a dynasty.
