What’s up with people trolling on social media? When Caitlin Clark blocks Antonio Brown, you know something is up. I seriously don’t understand the psychology behind people taunting and trolling each other online, but, it’s a thing. Now, Clark has reportedly blocked Brown following some crude and negative posts.

Caitlin Clark Blocks Antonio Brown, According to Brown

Caitlin Clark is ruling the sports world. She broke a ton of records while playing basketball at Iowa, and then, she was recently the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft. She also has lots of endorsement deals, and she’ll likely get many more coming up. Clark, a guard, will likely bring a lot of attention and viewership to the WNBA, and she’s garnering the attention of many people. Unfortunately, the more famous she gets, the more she becomes a target. Now, she’s garnered the attention of Antonio Brown and not in a good way.

The former NFL player has been posting on X about Clark a lot, and the tweets have become taunting and offensive. He’s known for his crude and negative social posts, so it’s not very surprising.

I won’t embed Brown’s tweets out of respect to Clark, but you can check out a few here, here and here.

Finally, Clark had enough and blocked Brown, as you can see via the post below.

A bunch of Brown’s followers agreed with her and said she did the right thing by blocking him. “Smart girl,” one said. “I honestly think you deserved it,” said another.

So, now we live in a world where Caitlin Clark blocks Antonio Brown, and people are supporting her, which is nice. Brown was such a talented NFL player, and it’s too bad to see the direction he’s gone.

Another Awkward Caitlin Clark Moment

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Star columnist Gregg Doyel recently apologized for a strange interaction with new Indiana Fever play. On Wednesday (April 17), Clark held her introductory news conference, shortly after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft. Doyel was there, and before he asked her a question during the news conference, he made a heart with his hands at Clark, which is something she did to her family watching at every Iowa game during her college career. That led to a strange dialog between the two.

“Real quick, let me do this,” Doyel said and then flashed the heart sign at Clark.

Clark looked a little confused and said, “You like that?”

“I like that you’re here. I like that you’re here,” Doyel said.

“I do that at my family after every game, so,” Clark added.

“OK, well start doing that to me and we’ll get along just fine,” Doyel replied.

Was he flirting? Who knows, but people noticed and X (formerly Twitter) was ablaze with comments.

Doyel responded, stating, “Today in my uniquely oafish way, while welcoming Caitlin Clark to Indy, I formed my hands into her signature [heart]. My comment afterward was clumsy and awkward. I sincerely apologize. Please know my heart (literally and figuratively) was well-intentioned. I will do better.”
