The metal men of Metallica have been touring Europe in support of their latest album, “Hardwired…to Self-Destruct,” and the guys have posted a snazzy-looking clip for those of us who can’t make the flight overseas.
Metallica has posted pro-shot video footage of their song “The Shortest Straw,” filmed the night before Halloween at Genting Arena in Birmingham, England. View the footage below.
Metallica set off on the European leg of their “WorldWired” tour starting on Sept. 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and wrapped up the tour early this month. After some time off for the holidays, the tour will pick up again starting on Feb. 1, 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, and wrap up in May in Helsinki, Finland.
“WorldWired” has proved a success for Metallica when it comes to ticket sales. The first ten of the concerts in North America taking place from May to June grossed $49.5 million in ticket sales.
