Have you ever noticed just how long the NBA playoffs last? I’m here for it. I absolutely love having NBA action to watch every night. But, yes, the NBA playoffs drag on for weeks and weeks. Now, we’re finally in the very last stretch. The final four teams are the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, we’re predicting who will win the 2024 NBA championship, based on our experts opinions at AlternativeFix.com and what NBA analysts are saying.

Before we get into the ranking, it’s worth noting that it was pretty shocking to see the Denver Nuggets go down. The Nuggets are the NBA champions, and the Minnesota Timberwolves took them down in Game 7 on Sunday (May 19). Going into the half, the Nuggets were up by a substantial point margin, but they fell in a shocking ending, that had the Timberwolves pretty much owning them. So, there will be a new 2024 NBA championship winner this season.

Who Will Win the 2024 NBA Championship?

We here at AlternativeFix.com are going with the Boston Celtics to take it all. NBA.com has the Boston Celtics with the best chance of taking it all. Let’s face it. All year, they’ve been the team to beat. They were favorites going into the playoffs, and they’re still favorites to take it all. For the most part, they’re healthy and have big stars, like Jayson Tatum. They’re playing the Dallas Mavericks, and seeing as the Mavericks’ star player Luka Dončić is playing through injuries, this looks like a pretty clear-cut victory. Of course, time will tell. But, I’m predicting that this is the year for the Boston Celtics, and they’ll win it all. The experts at NBA.com agree, too.

If it’s not the Celtics, I’m going with the Minnesota Timberwolves to win it all and make history. This year marks the first time in 20 years and only the second time in franchise history that the Minnesota Timberwolves are playing in the Western Conference finals. That’s such a big deal, both for the team and the city.  It’s a huge accomplishment. Their not-so-secret weapon, of course, is Anthony Edwards. He’s a confident player and person. When he’s on, he’s on. So, if he’s consistent in the remainder of the playoffs, then the Wolves could really rule.

The third option I see is the Indiana Pacers. They were more than impressive against the Knicks. They’ve also defied the odds to get to the final four teams.

Finally, the Dallas Dallas Mavericks are No. 4 on my tally. They’re strong, but as I mentioned earlier, Luka Dončić has been playing through injuries. Kyrie Irving has been impressive, though, so that should help them out. As ESPN notes, “Doncic has struggled by his standards while dealing with a sprained right knee, but he finished the West semifinals strong, averaging a 30-point triple-double on .568/.529/.900 shooting splits in the past two games.”

The NBA playoffs kick off again Tuesday (May 21), with the Pacers against the Celtics. Get ready to rock on the road to the 2024 NBA championship. Find the full series schedule here.
