Oh, to be a fly on the wall.
My friend Scott Owen was fortunate enough to see a young Alice in Chains at a hole-in-the-wall venue in Lansing, Michigan, called the Silver Dollar Saloon. (That venue is no longer there, by the way.)
He says it was a very raw and pure performance. Owen also sent me this rare video of the show!
It’s hard to believe someone was able to capture video like this at a club show back in 1991.
They truly captured a moment in music history.
