For those of us lucky enough to have caught Black Sabbath’s “The End” tour, it was a very special thing. I saw the show at The Palace of Auburn Hills near Detroit, and it was mammoth.
But, is there any possibility of a Black Sabbath one-off gig?
When recently asked that question, bass player Geezer Butler says it’s not very likely.
“Not very likely at all,” he told Full Metal Jackie. “I think Ozzy is going out on his farewell tour, so that will be him touring for the next two or three years. So, I don’t think there will be any chance of doing any one-offs or anything like that — which I’m fine with.”
“We went out on a high, and it’s best not to drag it out.”
Makes sense, Butler.
