A Perfect Circle is slated to perform at Coachella this year, not Tool, but that didn’t stop a Tool fan from asking frontman Maynard James Keenan if Tool would surprise fans with some new tunes at the annual California festival.
Keenan was quick to answer the question.
“No,” he simply tweeted.
What is confirmed is that Tool will appear at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio, and Northern Invasion in Somerset, Wisconsin, this year.
There are also rumors of a new Tool album coming in 2018, while it’s confirmed that A Perfect Circle will drop new tunes this year.
