The “Final Four” is a term that’s usually reserved for the final four college teams in the NCAA basketball national championship run. But, it seems really appropriate here. The “Final Four” teams that are vying to get to the Super Bowl will go head-to-head this upcoming Sunday (Jan. 28). It’s an exciting four teams left, each with their own stories. Let’s get into the 2024 NFL championship schedule.

NFL Divisional Round Recap:
What a weekend. What’s not to love about this time of the football season? The first day of the NFL Divisional Round ended with the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers winning. The Ravens game was a blowout in the second half. But, the 49ers game was very close. I think the Niners have to watch their backs. The second day brought two good, close games. The Detroit Lions pulled of a big win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early in the day, and the Kansas City Chiefs closed out the Buffalo Bills in a closer game later in the day. Let’s get into the games.
Baltimore Ravens 34, Houston Texans 10
The Baltimore Ravens towered over the Houston Texans, 34-10, on Saturday (Jan. 20). The Texans have so much promise, though, so no need to be sad. The Texans got to the final eight teams in the championship this season with first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans and rookie quarterbacks CJ Stroud. This game was very even in the first half, but the Ravens were dominant in the second half.
San Francisco 49ers 24, Green Bay Packers 21
Green Bay dominated their game against San Francisco 24-21 on Saturday, but at the very end of the game, they fell short. It was a heartbreaking loss for Packers fans. That said, this franchise has a star quarterback in Jordan Love, who will be a huge force next season. This Packers teams is one of the youngest and strongest out there.
Detroit Lions 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23
It’s been a long time coming for the Motor City. The Detroit Lions won their first playoff game in more than three decades against the Los Angeles Rams, and they did it again with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game was fairly even up until the final quarter, when the Lions pulled ahead. The final score was the Detroit Lions 31, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23. If the Lions make it to the Super Bowl, I don’t think Las Vegas will be ready for all the excitement and mayhem that we’ll bring.
Kansas City Chiefs 27, Buffalo Bills 24
This game came down to the wire, and the Buffalo Bills didn’t go down without a fight. Bills quarterback Josh Allen is playing some of the best football of his career. But, in the end, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs squeaked by the Bills, 27-24. If it weren’t for a missed field goal towards the end of the game, this matchup would have gone into overtime.
By the way, my predictions for last weekend’s games were close. I only got one game wrong, being the Bills. I’ll post my predictions for this weekend later in the week, so check back.
