I was one of those people who actually thought we’d see another Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl. Boy, was I wrong. But, a lot of people were wrong. So, I don’t feel too had about it. But, yikes. The Eagles went from being unbeatable to being, like, always beaten towards the end of the season. It was a massive downward spiral, and I’m not talking about the Nine Inch Nails record. But, I wish the best for them next season. Now, let’s look ahead. Here’s the NFL playoff schedule for the super anticipated 2024 divisional round.

Looking at the AFC, the Houston Texans will head to Baltimore to play the Ravens, and the Kansas City Chiefs will go to Buffalo to take on the Buffalo Bills. In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers go up against the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco, and the Detroit Lions will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Predictions for the 2024 NFL Divisional Round Playoffs

(7) Green Bay Packers at (1) San Francisco 49ers

Okay, kids! Let’s get into the gritty and some predictions. Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers is hot right now. Many people are saying he’s going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league very soon. But, let’s be real. The San Francisco 49ers have all the pieces of a team that’s really going to the Super Bowl.

My prediction is 28-21, with the 49ers winning.

(4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at (3) Detroit Lions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a winning streak, baby. They’ve won six out of seven of their past games, including Monday night’s big win over the Eagles. So, they’re a very dangerous team. They’re playing some of their best football since the Tom Brady era. But, the Lions have a chance to make history here. They’re already made history, winning a playoff game for the first time in 32 years. But, this team has never even been to a Super Bowl. The Lions also beat the Bucs early in the season. With so much riding on this game, I don’t see the Lions losing this one.

My prediction is 28-24, with the Lions winning.

(4) Houston Texans at (1) Baltimore Ravens

This looks to be another riveting game. Both of these teams are playing with the best quarterbacks in the league. For the Ravens, it’s Lamar Jackson, the leading candidate for NFL MVP. For the Texans, it’s rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud. While this could go either way, I think Jackson will just be too hard to beat.

My prediction is 31-24, with the Ravens winning.

(3) Kansas City Chiefs at (2) Buffalo Bills

The two cold city teams unite. Both of these teams are used to playing in the cold, because both have outdoor stadiums. But, temperatures aside, this will be another close game. I don’t think Patrick Mahomes will go down without a fight, but I see a Bill victory with Josh Allen here.

My prediction is 27-21, with the Bills winning.
