The regular season of the NBA is coming to a close, and by now, we have a solid idea of who the strongest players in the NBA are for the 2024 season. That said, it’s time to unveil AlternativeFix.com’s list of the 10 best NBA players of 2024.

Best NBA Players of 2024

The NBA, of course, is a very star player-driven sport. Having one star player on your squad can literally make the difference between bringing home a title or not. That’s why when a star player gets injured, it can really bring down a team. Just look at the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid. When Embiid was out with an injury starting in February, the 76ers went downhill. Now, they’re fighting for a spot in the playoffs. With Embiid back in the fold, they’ve started winning games again. Having him back is obviously a game changer. Now, let’s get into the 10 best NBA players of 2024.

10. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

Devin Booker has proven for years now that he’s a huge asset on the court. Since the beginning of the 2018-19 season, he’s averaging nearly 27 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists on 48% shooting.

9. Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is helping keep the title dream alive for Minnesota. He’s so good, that he could even be considered the NBA’s MVP this year. He’s averaging 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists on 47% shooting.

8. Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are the most complete team in the NBA, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have stars that stand out. Jayson Tatum is just that. He’s another MVP hopeful. Tatum is averaging 27.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists on 48% shooting.

7. LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James is still one of the top players in the NBA, even being almost 40 years old. He’s a GOAT, as people would say. He’s currently averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.8 assists on 52% shooting. It’s incredible to watch and live through.

6. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has developed into one of the best players in the NBA following his trade from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He’s averaging a resounding 31.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists. He’s young, too, at 25 years old, so changes are he hasn’t peaked yet.

5. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Like LeBron James, Stephen Curry is denying nature. He’s in his mid-30s and playing like he’s in his 20s. He even hit 60 points in a game earlier this season. (Detroit Pistons’ Malachi Flynn actually hit 50 points this season.)

4. Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers

Just how important is Joel Embiid to the Philadelphia 76ers? Well, they tanked when he was injured. It just shows how much of this team is riding on his shoulders. Embiid even scored an insane 70 points against the San Antonio Spurs this season. He’s no doubt one of the best NBA players of 2024.

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been going strong since the 2017-18 season. All years combined, he’s averaging 29.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists on 56% shooting. He’s also super consistent, which makes him an invaluable player.

2. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is special. He’s won MVP for two consecutive years and has some of the best numbers ever seen in the NBA. He’s easily one of the best NBA players of 2024.

1. Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic is easily one of the best NBA players of all time, especially when you look at the past decade. He’s been strong since his debut in 2018 and leads NBA in shooting at 34.2 points per game. Watching Doncic is a treat, and NBA fans should feel lucky that they’re alive to witness is incredible playing.
