The Philadelphia Eagles have clinched a playoff spot with Sunday’s (Dec. 11) over the New York Giants, 48-22. Philadelphia will be back in the playoffs for the second season in a row under coach Nick Sirianni. With their current record of 12-1, the Eagles are the NFC’s top seed.

In a post-game interview with Pam Oliver of Fox Sports, quarterback Jalen Hurts talked about progress and how the team continues to learn from their experiences.

“We just want to continue to chase progress. We want to continue to learn from our mistakes, learn from our successes and just continue to grow,” Hurts said in the on-the-field interview. “That’s what it’s about. Just progress. Constant progress.”

He added, “Mainly, it’s just you never want to ride waves. You don’t want to ride waves. You never want to get too high or get too low. You just want to keep the main thing the main thing, and just keep going. Nothing else really matters but chasing that growth every day. That’s what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to stay focused. We know what we believe in and we just want to continue to di it. I think you sit there and watch these games and you wonder so many different things but the realty is we’re never satisfied, so I think there’s more out there for us to do.”

All eyes have been on the Eagles this year, as the team was the undefeated team of the 2022 campaign. They were 8-0 before losing in Week 10 to the Washington Commanders, but since then, the Eagles have performed consistently and brought home four straight wins.

Next up, the Eagles will now center of closing out their division and snagging the conference’s only bye. Their next game is a Week 15 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The game is in Chicago.
