While I love trying different shades of lipstick, I almost always go back to a few of my staples: pink or brownish tones. That said, it’s almost fall, and with a new season comes new opportunities in the makeup world.

This season, I’m noticing a dark-lipped trend that is perfect to wear at a metal or hard rock show. This shade of dark wine is extremely popular right now, and while it might be too much for day wear, I think it’s get for nighttime. Actually, I think it looks good during the day, too. Just don’t go too dark, as it will look really goth.
